Hello. I’m Justine. I’m a novelist and I live in Brighton, UK.
This is what I look like when I’m being wistful in the woods:
Things that make me feel happy: being outdoors, risotto, being outdoors while eating risotto, being outdoors while eating risotto with my fella, my sailing boat Kite, my dog Lulu, science podcasts, gentle hands, dark forests, creating new worlds with words, making photographs, the ocean, cuddling, the sound of banjos, baby goats, the constellations, Guinness, wolves, you, the word shenanigans, the colour orange, any combination of these.
My first novel, Advice for Strays is available at amazon.co.uk or The Book Depository and other places, probably. You might enjoy it. I’m working on my second, Bite Marks, at the moment. I was awarded a Time To Write grant by Arts Council England for the research and writing thereof. Good stuff.
I have an Instagram. It’s mostly photos of my wildflowers, my boat and my dog. All of these things are pretty and I love them.
I have a lovely literary agent.
