Hearing the word ‘festive’ has been known to make me growl and retreat to a corner, where I can later be found mumbling to myself and gnawing on my knuckles. Something I saw yesterday, though, did fill my heart with holiday-time cheer. A sign which read SNOW FLOCKING. Snow flocking. I’m planning on getting M’s dog snow-flocked while he’s at work; you can see how thrilled she is about that little plan:

I could only guess what snow flocking meant. I hoped it didn’t mean what i thought it did. but i looked it up: Artificial Snow Flocking
This white flocking has a self-adhesive that is activated when it is combined with water. Perfect for creating light, fluffy snow effects. NO JUST DON’T DO IT!!!
It’s a little known fact that, if someone uses snow flocking plus gaffa tape on their windows to create that olde time Dickensian xmas look, they’re officially a twunt.
Actually I think it’ s *well* known.
I actually did not know that. Thanks for the educaterising.
